Ford 438 stroker is not runnig right have n351 heads on it i know thats not the best head but that is what i have.It keep breacking up on top end.And beleave it or not but it runs slower on NOS.NEED HELP runnig autolite r 134 plugs Need help Mike Fulbright

IGNITION OR MECHANICAL?? THE VALVE SPRINGS CORRECT FOR THE CAM SPECS? NOT ENOUGH PRESURE CAN CAUSE VALVE FLOAT AND MAYBE SEEM LIKE AN IGNITION ISSUE?

I,m not sure what is causing it.All new MSD and valve springs are correct.some times it seems like is fuel.I have had to different carbs on it 950 and 750 the 750 runs better.Any idea on spark plug to run?

Whats your fuel system consist of of?
What stile msd box and coil do you have?

A 2000 fuel pump holley big port regulator.Digital 6al 2 step blaster coil.

IS THIS A NEW ENGINE AND COMBINATION ? OR HAVE YOU BEEN RUNNING THIS COMBO AND CHANGED SOME THINGS AND THIS IS WHEN THE PROBLEM STARTED.ARE THE PLUGS RICH LOOKING??

A 2000 fuel pump holley big port regulator.Digital 6al 2 step blaster coil. that should all work about same setup i have on the yellow car. I would look into checking plug wires,cap rotor, maybe intake air leak. Also make run shut it off at wide open coast out and pull plugs look at for mixture and timing. The autolite plugs are fine but i prefer NGK

I would make sure all grounds are good I like to run a ground to the box from the battery and one to the heads also.
Check your voltage at the box and look for voltage drop any thing less than 12 and you will have issues.
Do you run a alternator?
Also that plug is a little warm for nitrous but good for all motor.
