To get a 28" tire I guess you did LOL! since I have my new gears now I need to stay with a 26" tire. I was going to keep the 8" wheels but I can't find a 26x9 slick, it's 8.5" or 9.5", I would rather buy a wider wheel and run the 10" slick, I need all the tire I can get under it. What wheel/tire are you running on the pace car?

I have 8.5 wide convo pros with 5" back spacing. They dont fit all that well on stock width rear i have 3/4" off each side to get them under the wheel wells.

Well after some closer looking weld/Summit or Jegs do not offer a 9" wheel. Hmmm now I will have to figure something else out.

a 10 inch wheel with 6.5" backspacing will work great on a fox car with a little massaging of the inner fender, and rolling the outter lip.
You can also run a 26x10.50 slick on a 8" wheel, but if you're buying wheels I'd go 10's, to fill out the tire more and keep the car from walking on the belly of the tire.
