Who here has any knowledge or experience with brooks aluminum rods? Have a chance to pick sme up for a good price, guy building motor bought the wrong length, so he is selling them for cheap
Just need to know of any bad things you guys know for sure, not heard from a buddy's uncle type thing

GRP, MGP, R&R, BME, Childs and Albert have used them all over the years with much success. Jason I would not be afraid of Brooks rods at all, Just remember at some point those rods will need to become paper weights. I don't like to run them over 150 passes with a power adder, and 300 passes at most NA. Steel rods will serve your purpose alot longer, just keep that in mind.
